First-half goals from Edinson Cavani and Paolo Cannavaro were enough to earn Napoli a comfortable 2-0 home win against relegation-threatened Novara.
The opening goal came after 21 minutes when Cavani converted Blerim Džemaili's assist after Novara goalkeeper Alberto Fontana failed to clear an Ivan Radovanović backpass.
Napoli added a second eight minutes before the break as Cavani's shot was pushed away by Fontana to Cannavaro, who shot venomously into the top corner.
