Without the dozen first-teamers still in London, the Gunners named an experienced team for the friendly clash with Thomas Vermaelen, Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Marouane Chamakh all starting.

The Malaysians took the lead in first-half stoppage time through a superb goal from Muslim.

There seemed little danger when Muslim picked up the ball about 25 yards out but he unleashed an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone was flat-footed as the stunning ripper flew past him to the delight of the home crowd.

The Premier League outfit made the expected sweeping changes for the second half and, after missing several chances, they levelled with just four minutes left through Thomas Eisfeld before Chuks Aneke grabbed an unlikely winner two minutes later.
