A stunning strike from Cristian Bustos helped Celta Vigo to a famous 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of a dramatic Copa del Rey last-16 clash at the Balaidos.
Madrid boss José Mourinho selected a strong lineup for the contest but the visitors were strangely subdued for long periods and it came as no surprise when they fell behind early in the second half through Mario Bermejo.
Things would get even worse for the Spanish giants in the 78th minute when Bustos then deservedly doubled Celta's advantage with a stunning strike from distance.
Madrid lost possession from a throw-in inside their half and the ball was quickly fed to Bustos, who took the ball on before unleashing a powerful shot from outside the area into the top far corner of the net.
But a crucial late strike from Cristiano Ronaldo ensured Los Merengues will take an away goal to the Bernabéu next month.
