An unbelievable solo effort from Valdet Rama was not enough to earn Real Valladolid a shock win at the Nuevo San Mamés as Athletic Bilbao rallied convincingly to claim a 4-2 victory.
The hosts' unbeaten home record appeared to be under threat when relegation-threatened Valladolid took the lead through Oscar's 15th-minute effort.
However, Ernesto Valverde's men quickly turned things around after half-time with four second-half goals.
Ibai scored twice in what ultimately proved to be a comfortable run-out for Bilbao, with Óscar de Marcos and Ander Herrera heaping further misery on Valladolid.
Rama, though, netted a late consolation for the strugglers in stoppage time - and what a goal it was.
The 26-year-old winger got hold of the ball and kept on going, past one, another, a third, then a fourth Bilbao player, before lashing the ball into the roof of the net.
