Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama says sex is total relaxation for World Cup players

Friday, May 30, 2014

Colombian football great Carlos Valderrama believes the World Cup could be stressful for the players and they should have sex during the tournament for relaxation.

The topic of players at the World Cup having sex has come up on a couple of occasions already before the competition.

Last month, Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari told his players can have sex, just not "acrobatic sex", whilst Mexican coach Miguel Herrera has banned the team from having any sex throughout the World Cup.

Now Colombian legend Valderrama has claimed that the players would've performed better in the World Cup if they'd been having sex during the tournament.

In an interview with El Tiempo, Valderrama said: "Of course it's better to have sex during the World Cup.

"If we had sex, sex at the World Cup, we would have been better. We would have relaxed after games, especially after losses. That's total relaxation.

"You should not be doing 'the Tequendama Falls' or 'roller coaster' or any weird pose. It should be quiet, coolly, without inventing crazy poses."
