The 30 matches played so far have produced 76 goals including four penalties but not a single own goal.

The victorious Spain have been the most scoring team with twelve from their six matches but the Netherlands had the best goals-per-game ratio (2.5).

Austria, Poland, Romania, Greece – the defending champions – and two times champions France, each registered only once.

Those goals came from the 875 shots – 334 on target – that have been hit so far.

The Spanish side have been the most attacking team from this point of view with 104 efforts (20.8 per match on average).

In terms of clubs, Bayern Munich players have been netting most goals with eight - Lukas Podolski contributing three - followed by Real Madrid with six.

Of the 16 participating countries, three have no goalscorer playing in their domestic league: Sweden, Greece and Romania.

While 20 goals have come from La Liga players, followed by Bundesliga (13) and Premier League (eight).

In addition, Xavi's goal against Russia in the semi-final was the 500th European Championship finals goal.
