The boy name is Jack Wilshere. Remember his name because in the future you will find him replacing Cesc Fàbregas in the center of Arsenal's midfield.

Wilshere has already created plenty of headlines with an eye-catching pre-season campaign for the first team.

The 16-year-old has been in splendid form during pre-season, scoring against Burgenland XI and Stuttgart while he also rattled and Real Madrid's defence in the Emirates Cup.

As a result, the highly rated teenager has been promoted to Arsenal's first team for the 2008/09 season and inherits Gilberto's number 19 shirt.

Last season the left-footed midfielder scored 13 times in 19 league appearances for the club's under-18s, and also netted twice in two games for the reserves, all while still a schoolboy.

The English wonder boy joined Arsenal at the age of nine and set to pen a long-term deal with the Gunners when he turns 17 in January.
