Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo has been recalled by Italy coach Marcello Lippi for Saturday's friendly with Brazil at the Emirates Stadium.

Buffon and Pirlo both missed the last match against Greece in November because of injury.

Chiellini's absence means captain Fabio Cannavaro is likely to be partnered by Fiorentina defender Alessandro Gamberini.

The coach has also included youngsters Alberto Aquilani, Riccardo Montolivio, Giuseppe Rossi and Simone Pepe as he builds towards the World Cup in 2010.
