Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has claimed that Barcelona deserve to beat Manchester United and win the Champions League because of their stylish brand of football.
The Catalans lock horns with reigning champions United in next Wednesday's final knowing that if they win they will be the first Spanish side to win the treble.
"I know that many people who are not Barça fans admire the club for its brand of football," Messi told reporters.
"We deserve to win next Wednesday’s final for the football we’ve played all year.
"We can get our reward for the effort we’ve been making all year. We are playing spectacular football.
"It’s a big motivation that we know we can make history.
"It’s been a massive year but we know we can make it even better for us and our fans.
"It’s the most important game of my life. And I’m confident we will win."
