Spanish newspaper AS has launched a quite sensational attack at Italy striker Giuseppe Rossi.
The 22-year-old Rossi came off the bench to bag a brace and help Italy to a 3-1 win over the United States in the Confederations Cup on Monday.
"Thanks to him, Italy played with 13 men," AS 'praised' Rossi.
"Rossi was born in New Jersey, the son of Italian parents. He lived there for 14 years and he is now 22.
"As a child, he played baseball. He is more American than any other thing."
