Valencia president Manuel Llorente has revealed that the club have not received any formal proposals for in-demand striker David Villa.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with Villa, and representatives of both clubs have held talks with Valencia in recent days in an effort to strike a deal for the 27-year-old.
But Llorente insists no bids have been tabled for the Spain international.
He told the club's official website: "Right now there isn't any offer on the table.
"Talks with Real Madrid finished on Saturday and now there other teams, like Barcelona, who have asked about the player's situation.
"At the moment he is a Valencia player and the talks that were held with Real Madrid have been concluded.
"We are going to take it calmly to take the decisions which best suit the club because in the last few days we have been in a whirl where some people think that we are going to sell all our players, but that couldn't be further from the case."
