David Trezeguet to AC Milan possible - Agent

Sunday, July 26, 2009

David Trezeguet’s agent, Antonio Caliendo, has revealed his client could leave Juventus for AC Milan if a decent offer is tabled.

Milan are looking for a striker following Kaká's departure to Real Madrid and after failing in their latest bid for Sevilla's Luís Fabiano.

Caliendo was spotted dining with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani last week, while new Rossoneri coach Leonardo has admitted he would welcome Trezeguet into the squad with open arms.

"If we received an official offer, then we would have no problems in negotiating with Milan," Caliendo told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"Leonardo and the club's appreciation of Trezeguet represents a chance to discuss things seriously.

"We can always find a solution when everyone shows good will. Milan is worth a sacrifice and David is ready to meet the demands of a new club."

Trezeguet, who has been at Juve since 2000, endured a difficult campaign last term - scoring one goal in just two league starts - after a groin injury ruled him out for part of the season, while he was also unable to earn a starting place under former coach Claudio Ranieri.
