Didier Drogba scored a lucky stoppage time winner to give Chelsea a 2-1 triumph over Hull City at Stamford Bridge.

Debutant Stephen Hunt put the visitors ahead in the 27th minute after George Boateng's deflected effort fell invitingly for him.

But the Blues drew level ten minutes later thanks to a superb free-kick strike from Drogba.

The game looked to be heading for a draw until Drogba struck the winner when his chipped cross looped over Boaz Myhill from an acute angle in stoppage time to earn the home side three points.
