Nicolás Burdisso agrees loan switch to Roma

AS Roma have completed the capture of defender Nicolás Burdisso from Inter Milan on a season-long deal.
The Argentina international was widely tipped to be on the move this summer after struggling to hold down a regular role under José Mourinho.
"Burdisso is a Roma player. We have signed all the documents with Inter and are taking them in to the Lega Calcio to be registered," sporting director Daniele Pradè told Roma's website.
"We are happy, he is a player we really needed very much. He is a defender of temperament and brings something extra to the team. We're pleased with this.
"It is a loan without the option to buy. We have an excellent rapport with Inter and will talk about it during the course of the campaign."
