CR9 still a Manchester United fan

Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he still cheered for Manchester United when watching them on television.

The Portuguese winger spent six years at Old Trafford before moving to Real Madrid for a world record £80 million in the summer.

But despite that switch Ronaldo still harbours affection for his old club.

He told The Daily Mirror: ""Every time I can I try to watch United's games on television.

"I still like to know what's happening at Old Trafford. And despite now being at Real, I'm always happy when I know when United have won."
