Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has reacted strongly to Zlatan Ibrahimović’s claims that he was responsible for their recent success in Italy.
Earlier this week Ibrahimović claimed Inter had won nothing for 17 years before he joined the club but with him they won three straight Scudetto.
The 27-year-old moved to Barcelona during the summer and his quotes will surely stir things up ahead of the Champions League clash between his current and former employers at the San Siro on Wednesday.
"Thanks Ibra for the three Scudetti? We will see on Wednesday," said Materazzi from the Homeless World Cup in Milan.
"The thing that can be most painful for a person is indifference. He helped us win three Scudetti but we were a team."
