Atlético Madrid came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus and remain on course for a Europa League place.
The Cypriot champions took the lead in only the fifth minute when Nektarios Alexandrou's low cross found Nenad Mirosavljević unmarked to tuck the ball beyond Sergio Asenjo.
Atletico equalised just after the hour mark as Apoel keeper Dionisis Chiotis could only parry Sergio Agüero's cross straight to Simão Sabrosa and the skipper made no mistake from 10 yards out.
