A lone Rodrigo Tello goal earned Besiktas a shock 1-0 victory as Manchester United lost for the first time in 24 European matches on home soil.
The goal came on 19 minutes when Tello was afforded too much time and space 25 yards from goal and his curling effort took a deflection off Rafael Da Silva and past the diving Ben Foster.
