Arsenal confirmed their status as the capital's top dogs with an emphatic 3-0 win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates.
Robin van Persie fired the home side in front in the 42nd minute when he nipped ahead of Ledley King to poke home Bacary Sagna's cross.
And Tottenham shot themselves in the foot when Cesc FÃ bregas netted just 11 seconds after the opener as the visitors lost possession from the kick-off.
The win was ensured on the hour mark when van Persie added a third after referee Mark Clattenburg waved play on despite a foul on Sagna down the right flank.
