Rubin Kazan and Dynamo Kyiv battled to a 0-0 draw in Russia, with both teams still in with a shout of reaching the last 16.

The Russian champions came closest to snatching all three points late in the first half but Dynamo keeper Oleksandr Shovkovskiy made a fantastic stop to save Alejandro Domínguez's scissor kick from 12 yards.
