AC Milan won their fifth consecutive Serie A match and kept the pressure on leaders Inter Milan with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Sampdoria.
All the goals came in the first half with Marco Borriello putting the hosts ahead on the one-minute mark and Clarence Seedorf adding a second in the 21st minute.
And Alexandre Pato finished off the early onslaught with a close-range effort in the 23rd minute.
