Roberto Mancini enjoyed a winning start to his Manchester City reign with a 2-0 home win over Stoke City on Boxing Day.
City took the lead against the run of play on 28 minutes when Martin Petrov slotted home Robinho's unintentional pass after delightful run by Carlos Tévez.
And Tévez made it two with an acrobatic finish from Gareth Barry's cushion header on the stroke of half-time.
