Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson marked his 900th league game in style as they smashed a much-changed Wolves side 3-0 at Old Trafford.
United opened the scoring after 30 minutes as Wayne Rooney converted a penalty after Ronald Zubar intentionally, and foolishly, handled a Darron Gibson corner.
The second came just two minutes before the break when Nemanja Vidić headed home past Marcus Hahnemann from another Gibson corner.
United's third came in the 66th minute as Dimitar Berbatov brilliantly flicked the ball up and over his shoulder for Antonio Valencia to walk on to and blast into the roof of the net.
