Forgotten man David Bentley made a goalscoring return to the Tottenham Hotspur team as London rivals Fulham were undone at White Hart Lane.
Spurs were gifted an opening goal on 27 minutes when Fulham failed to clear a Bentley cross and Peter Crouch turned the ball home following good work by Luka Modrić.
Bentley, drafted in for his first start since October, then doubled Spurs' advantage on the hour mark with a deflected free-kick from the edge of the area.
