Serie A: Inter Milan 2-0 Juventus

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Inter Milan moved back to the top of Serie A thanks to a 2-0 win over stubborn 10-man Juventus at the San Siro.

Juventus were left with an uphill struggle after 37 minutes when Mohamed Sissoko was sent off for two bookings but they managed to keep the defending champions at bay until 15 minutes from time, when Maicon juggled the ball on the edge of the penalty area before volleying it past Gianluigi Buffon.

Samuel Eto'o then sealed the win in stoppage-time when he placed the ball into an empty net after reaching a low cross from Sulley Muntari.
