Substitute Nikola Žigić scored both goals for Valencia in a 2-0 win at Espanyol that nearly guarantees their place in next year's Champions League competition.
Žigić replaced the surprisingly ineffective David Villa on 59 minutes and had an instant impact, firing the visitors in front just two minutes later.
The Serbia striker then doubled the lead after 73 minutes when he dug out a low, angled shot to beat Idriss Kameni from close range following Vicente's flick on.
