European champions Spain must now win their remaining two games to reach the next phase of the World Cup after suffering a shock 1-0 defeat to Switzerland in Durban.

Gelson Fernandes bundled the winner in the 52nd minute in one of Switzerland's few attacks, ending Spain's 12-match winning streak.
