AC Milan determined to keep Ronaldinho

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that Brazilian forward Ronaldinho will remain at the San Siro for many years to come.

The 30-year-old, who joined Milan from Barcelona in 2008, has been hotly linked with both LA Galaxy and Flamengo in recent weeks and has only one year left on his contract with the Rossoneri.

However, Berlusconi rubbished these reports and insisted that Ronaldinho will not be leaving the club this summer.

He said during a press conference: "There is nothing to discuss about Ronaldinho, there are no doubts about his future.

"Ronaldinho is not transferable and we're all in agreement that he will play for Milan until he retires from the game.

"Considering his quality, I am certain he will continue to play for a few more years. I consider him the best player of all time."

Berlusconi added: "He's the biggest attraction at AC Milan. He's worth the ticket price alone.

"He's worth 10 times the amount attributed to him in the papers recently."
