Germany began their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign with a comfortable 1-0 victory over minnows Belgium in Brussels.

A defensive lapse by the hosts in the 51st minute allowed Germany's Thomas Müller to find Miroslav Klose unmarked just inside the penalty area and the marksman made no mistake.
