Inter Milan made a dismal start to their Champions League title defence as the Italian giants could only manage a 2-2 draw with FC Twente.
Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder opened the scoring after 13 minutes, reacting quickly after Diego Milito's blocked effort to chip the ball neatly home from in front of the goal.
Theo Janssen equalised for Twente with a curling free kick in the 20th minute before Milito's own goal put the Dutch side ahead 10 minutes later.
Inter soon compensated for that mistake as Samuel Eto'o pulled the visitors level with an attractive strike four minutes before the break.
