College kid scores straight from kick-off

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Watch Clark University sophomore Will Van Noppen scored a pearler straight from kick-off with a great half way line punt.

During the NCAA's Division III match between Clark and Wheaton College, Van Noppen launched a shot from the center circle that sailed over the head of Wheaton goalkeeper Stefan Viragh.

The goal which came just four seconds into the match ties the NCAA record for the fastest goal to start a match in Division III men's soccer history.
