Reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan lost their second successive match after slumping to a 2-1 loss at Chievo Verona.
Sergio Pellissier headed Chievo in front after half an hour and Davide Moscardelli added the second with eight minutes remaining.
Samuel Eto'o pulled a goal back for Inter with a superb individual effort in injury time but it was too little too late.
