Barcelona broke a club record that had stood since the 1973/74 season with their 27th league game without a loss thanks to a 2-1 victory at home to Getafe.
Daniel Alves opened the scoring after 16 minutes with a majestic volley from 22 yards and Bojan Krkić made it 2-0 in the 50th minute when his shot deflected in off Getafe center back Daniel Díaz.
Manu del Moral pulled one back for Getafe with three minutes left, but Barcelona held on for the win.
