Manchester United opened up a nine-point gap at the top of the Premier League table after Javier Hernández's late header secured a 1-0 home win over a stubborn Everton.
With United seemingly running out of ideas in the search for a goal, Hernández popped up at the far post to head home Antonio Valencia's in the 84th minute.
