Napoli made a bright start to their Serie A campaign as they overcame 10-man Cesena to win 3-1 at Stadio Dino Manuzzi and go top of Serie A.
Hugo Campagnaro showed great awareness to pick out Ezequiel Lavezzi with a long throw in the third minute before Roberto Guana brought Cesena level 22 minutes later.
Cesena were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Yohan Benalouane early in the second half and the away side took full advantage of the extra man with Campagnaro sliding the ball home from close range some 12 minutes later.
Marek HamÅ¡Ãk made it three with two minutes to play when he slammed the ball past the helpless Nicola Ravaglia in Cesena's goal.
