An x-rated video of Ronaldinho "pleasuring himself" in front of a webcam has spread across the internet like wildfire.

Brazilian star Ronaldinho is now a YouTube star but for all the wrong reasons

The footage of the ex-Barcelona star and his laptop enjoying some alone time in the bathroom were first uploaded to YouTube.

It was later removed due to the graphic content on display, though it has since been re-uploaded and has now spread around the internet.

The YouTube clip only lasts for 17 seconds so either Ronaldinho quickly realised that these things have a habit of going viral very quickly, or he's as quick in the self-pleasure department as he used to be on the pitch.

News of Ronaldinho's cyber-indiscretions has caused a stir in Brazil and beyond, but Flamengo coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo gave a far from expected response when quizzed about it on Thursday.

In perhaps the greatest quote ever from a football coach, Luxemburgo said: "This is a particular problem for Ronaldinho. I can not control what is on my player's computers."

"The only thing I can do is out of the way before this.... blows," finished Luxemburgo to much laughter from the gathered press ranks.

Egged on by the laughter, Luxemburgo added: "Let me ask a question for you? Who saw the video of Ronaldinho? How big?"
