Inter Milan secured a much-needed 2-0 home victory over Fiorentina thanks to goals either side of half-time from Giampaolo Pazzini and Yuto Nagatomo.
Pazzini opened the scoring against his former club on 41 minutes, using one sublime touch from a sharp angle to redirect a long pass from Philippe Coutinho past Artur Boruc.
And the advantage was doubled just after the break when Nagatomo ran into a failed clearing attempt by defender Manuel Pasqual and the ball bounced in off his chest.
