Atlético Madrid won their second in a series of friendlies in Colombia after a 2-1 triumph over América de Cali on Saturday with Radamel Falcao scoring a stunning opener.
The game in Cali was very open with chances for both sides but none of them were able to break the deadlock until half an hour of play.
Just three days after scoring an incredible bicycle kick against Millonarios, Falcao repeated that feat by striking with an even more acrobatic overhead kick to give Atlético the lead.
Eduardo Salvio doubled the lead for Atlético in the second half before Rubén Dario Bustos converted the spot kick to make it 2-1.
"I scored two very nice goals (in Bogota and Cali)," said Falcao after the game. "But I preferred today's goal because the degree of difficulty was higher."
