Andrés Iniesta ties the knot with Anna Ortiz

Barcelona midfielder Andrés Iniesta married his long-time partner Anna Ortiz on Sunday at Castillo de Tamarit, in Altafulla in the province of Tarragona.

Almost 700 guests, including Iniesta's teammates at Barcelona and the Spanish national team, turned out for the wedding.

Iker Casillas attended the event with Sara Carbonero, like Víctor Valdés and partner Yolanda, Cesc Fàbregas and his girlfriend Daniella Semaan.

Lionel Messi also attended the wedding with his four-month pregnant girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo.

Ex-Barça coach Pep Guardiola did not attend the ceremony but joined the banquet at the Mas d'en Ros restaurant with his wife afterwards.

Shortly after the wedding, Iniesta posted a picture of himself with his new wife on Twitter.

It caps a good month for the 28-year-old midfielder. Having won the Euro 2012 with Spain, Iniesta was then voted Player of the Tournament for his inspirational performances.
