Antonio Valencia had camera stolen by baggage handlers

Saturday, September 15, 2012

Furious Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia has accused baggage handlers in his homeland of stealing a camera from his suitcase somewhere between Quito and Manchester.

The Manchester United player was left fuming when he arrived in Manchester to discover his camera had been pinched from his luggage.

Without entertaining the possibility that it was stolen upon arrival in Manchester, he immediately took to Twitter to accuse airport staff in South America of theft.

Valencia tweeted: "Yes! They rob you in your own country! They won't rob you anywhere else, these assholes that check your baggage in the airport robbed my camera."

"I hope they use it well, these f**king fools. What a disgrace."

"These fools checked my suitcases. They had already robbed me, they didn't want to check the other. They wanted me out of there quickly. How awful."

The 27-year-old wasn't finished though, still seething he posted a picture of himself pointing towards an empty camera bag.
