The match at the Jeju World Cup Stadium got its first goal five minutes before halftime courtesy of a freak goal from Incheon goalkeeper Kwon.

Taking a free-kick from just outside his own box, the 34-year-old scored his first ever professional goal in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Kwon's hopeful kick upfield bounced on Jeju's 18-yard line and proceeded to bounce over the outrushing Jeju goalkeeper Park Jun-Hyuk, and into the unguarded net.

The 90-yard goal set a new K-League record which had stood since 2005 when Do Hwa-Sung scored from 70 yards for Busan I'Cons (now Busan I'Park).

The game ended 1-1 after Pedro Júnior converted a penalty kick on 65 minutes.
