Barcelona took the field for their friendly match against Santos on Friday wearing jerseys with letters and numbers that had been designed by Anna Vives, a local graphic designer and Barcelona fan who has Down Syndrome.

The distinctive style, which will only be worn in this one match, was invented by collecting newspaper cut-outs and combining them in a unique way.

Anna got in contact with the club and suggested designing the lettering and numbering on a one-off basis with the idea that the shirts could be auctioned on eBay for charity afterwards.

The money raised from the sale of the shirts will go to the Barcelona Foundation and the Fundacio Itinerarium, a Catalan youth charity that aims to help teens with learning difficulties get into sport.

Anna previously designed a helmet for two-time MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo and even joined him on the podium after the Grand Prix Catalunya.
