French footballer sent off for donkey-kicking opponent in face

Standard Liège midfielder William Vainqueur was given his marching orders for one of the clumsiest red cards we have seen in a long time.
Liège ran out comfortable 5-0 winners away at Lierse in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday, but Vainqueur failed to see out the full 90 minutes after picking up a bizarre red card in the 86th minute.
After making an incredible mess of trapping the ball, Vainqueur misguided his attempt to kick a ball that was behind him resulted in his boot connecting with the face of Rachid Bourabia.
