A Juan Guillermo Cuadrado stunner gave Fiorentina a 2-0 victory over Udinese on Tuesday and a place in the Coppa Italia final after a 3-2 win on aggregate.
The Florence outfit headed into the game trailing 2-1 from the first leg, but did have the benefit of a precious away goal.
Manuel Pasqual levelled the tie on aggregate with a superb close-range finish in the 14th minute.
And the deciding goal came just after the hour mark in spectacular fashion.
David Pizarro's long ball found Cuadrado down the right and he hit a ferocious shot from the edge of the area that clipped the underside of the crossbar.
Replays show the ball didn't even rotate in the air, as it simply arrowed off his boot.
"This is a joy we deserved over the last year and a half. The city deserves the Final too and I'm happy to have scored the goal," Cuadrado told Rai Sport.
