Visitors Geylang tied the match at one apiece in the 32nd minute with a stunner from Kwok.

Albirex goalkeeper Kazuki Kishigami hoofed a poor backpass out of his box and was completely off his line, with the clearance falling straight to Kwok inside the centre circle.

In an instance of pure instinct, Kwok connected perfectly with an intuitive one-touch volley to send the ball back in the direction where it came from and past the helpless goalkeeper.

However, Geylang eventually lost the match 4-2.

Kwok told Eagles TV after the match: "I was expecting the goalkeeper to clear the ball, and i was hoping it would come straight to me and it did.

"I wasn't expecting such a connection with the strike.

"Its not very nice to score an amazing goal but have a defeat at the end of the day."
