Did Tottenham media department troll their own manager?
Table of Contents
Tottenham Hotspur social media team have appeared to poke fun at Tim Sherwood while posting a link to an interview with the under-fire manager on Twitter.
In what is increasingly becoming the worst kept secret in football, Tottenham are expected to sack Sherwood at the end of the season.
And judging by a tweet sent from Spurs' official Twitter account, they want the 45-year-old out as soon as possible.
The Bit.ly shortlink to Sherwood's likely last-ever pre-match interview includes the not-so-subtle message "Saq me".
For your information, anyone who signs up for link-shortneing website Bit.ly can choose a customised suffix rather than a random jumble of characters, so this is probably a cruel joke at their own manager's expense.
