The Twitter world has reacted brilliantly to the news that Yaya Touré is considering leaving Manchester City this summer after the club failed to recognise his 31st birthday last week.

According to his agent Dimitri Seluk, Touré is upset with the City owners who did not personally congratulate him at a post-season party in Abu Dhabi, despite the club giving him a cake and tweeting their wishes.

Needless to say, fans were unsurprisingly unsympathetic to these revelations, and took to Twitter in their droves to mock the unhappy midfielder.
