How. The. F**k! Jack McInerney (Montreal) scores jaw-dropping volley vs Houston
Table of Contents
An unbelievable volley from Jack McInerney was the highlight of the Montreal Impact's 3-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo at Stade Saputo on Sunday night.
McInerney headed in a goal just before half-time and surprised himself with a splendid second in the 75th minute.
Justin Mapp muscled Corey Ashe off the ball near the byline and his cross came to McInerney in the box.
With his back to goal, the 21-year-old swung his foot and the ball miraculously looped over Tally Hall, hit the post up in the top corner, and went in.
Substitute Marco Di Vaio poked home the rebound to complete the scoring four minutes later.
"I just wanted to make solid contact, whatever happens, it goes in," McInerney told reporters after the game.
"(Di Vaio) didn't say anything, but someone told me he was screaming at me to leave it. But I don't think he can be too mad at me."
Di Vaio added: "He is hot right now. Everything he touches goes in."
