Trio set to stay at Bayern

Bayern Munich trio Martín Demichelis, Zé Roberto and Mark van Bommel are all set to commit their future to the club shortly, according to reports in Germany.
Demichelis is yet to sign his new contract, but chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes a deal is close. The versatile player is set to agree terms on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
"We have agreed in principle on a contract extension," Rummenigge told the local TZ newspaper. "Martín is staying."
Brazilian midfielder Zé Roberto is also close to extending his deal by a year with van Bommel reported to be attracted by a similar 12-month rolling contract.
"I think we have reached an agreement," Bayern general manager Uli Hoeneß told Bild, before adding: "Nothing is yet signed."
