Lazio secured a place in the Coppa Italia final thanks to a 2-1 victory over Juventus in Turin, sealing a 4-2 win on aggregate.

Mauro Zárate opened the scoring on 37 minutes when he curled an excellent right-footed shot into the corner of the net.

The visitors increased the lead early in the second half through Serbian full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, whose long range effort deflected in off Juventus defender Zdeněk Grygera.

Juve desperately surged forward and Alessandro Del Piero reduced the deficit shortly after the hour mark, stopping a cross from Mauro Camoranesi with his chest before firing into the back of the net.

Claudio Ranieri's men could have made it 2-2 soon after but Pavel Nedvěd missed a good opportunity as his header rebounded off the far post with Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera already beaten.

Juventus had to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men after Camoranesi was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Lazio will now face either Inter Milan or Sampdoria in the final scheduled for May 13 in Rome.
